Hayley Mayer EA
Hayley Mayer is a Director at Prager Metis CPAs, a member of Prager Metis International. Hayley has over fifteen years of experience in the accounting profession.
Hayley oversees the various services provided to high net-worth individuals whose lifestyles require attentive care ranging from bill payments, insurance needs, etc. She works with the clients’ team of advisors to ensure that they have the correct financial information to make well-informed decisions. She ensures that each lifestyle management client is run like a small business; monthly financial statements are produced to inform the client of what took place the previous month as well as what the investment accounts reflect at the end of the month. This gives the client an accurate portrayal of what their net worth. Hayley also manages the family office aspects, which include keeping track of all income and payments, made of the children.
Hayley joined Prager Metis predecessor Mayer CPAs in 2002 after working as a controller in apparel. She has an expertise in programs such as QuickBooks, and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Point of Sale (POS), and EDI Electric Data Interchange (EDI) systems. In 2016, Hayley became an enrolled agent (EA), a federally-authorized tax practitioner who has technical expertise in the field of taxation and who is empowered by the U.S. Department of the Treasury to represent taxpayers before all administrative levels-examination, collection, and appeals of the Internal Revenue Service. Hayley has won numerous professional accolades, including most recently being named to the Long Island Business News Who's Who 2018 Women in Professional Business Services list.
Hayley is a graduate of the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University. Her affiliations include treasurer of the University of Indiana Alumni Association and women’s networking groups throughout New York City.
